March of Dimes
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and March of Dimes officially established a partnership in 2013. The purpose of the collaboration is to work in cooperation against premature births and to achieve health equity. T rate of premature birth has increased for the fourth consecutive year in the United States and the racial/ethnic disparities in preterm birth rates are worse than ever. Delta Sigma Theta partners with the March of Dimes to participate in a host of activities such as fundraising for March for Babies, engaging in various awareness events especially in the month of November to commemorate Prematurity Awareness Month, and educating members as well as the community about mental health/post-partum depression, etc. Here are three reasons why donating to Team CAC – March of Dimes, March for Babies Virtual Walk is important:
1 – free virtual NICU support program for families
2 – virtual prenatal programs for moms-to-be
3 – COVID-19 intervention and support for moms-to be

National Wear Red Day.
We join our charitable partner, the American Heart Association, in wearing red and supporting the awareness of heart disease, the leading cause of death for women. On the first Friday of every February, which is designated as American Heart Month, we come together, igniting a wave of red from coast to coast. From landmarks to news anchors and neighborhoods to online communities; this annual groundswell unites millions of people for a common goal: the eradication of heart disease and stroke. Join us in wearing red to empower women to beat heart disease and stroke, giving us more time to do amazing things.
Delta Care
DeltaCare is a holistic approach to wellness in our sisterhood. It is a call to action for all
members of the Sorority to practice the ethic of self-care through three components: physical
wellness, emotional wellness, and awareness and advocacy.
