Charitable Contributions
The Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated annually grants charitable contributions to local non-profits which are aligned with one of our organization’s Five Point Programmatic Thrusts:

- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
For fiscal year 2026, the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter (DSTCLT) will accept applications and funding request from organizations focused on one of two areas:
(1) Promoting Economic Empowerment of Women and Girls
(2) Supporting Overall Physical and Mental Health of Women and Girls
The objective is to award one grant in each of the two (s) focus areas up to $10,000.
The application process is now OPEN.
All applications are to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on January 23, 2026, using the online application provided in the link below. Hard copy applications or documents will not be accepted.

DSTCLT evaluates all requests utilizing the following criteria:
- The organization must be organized and operated exclusively for purposes set forth in Internal Revenue
Code section 501(c)(3) - Applications must include a copy of the IRS 501(c)(3) Determination Letter verifying non-profit-status
- The organization must be located in Mecklenburg County
- The application must clearly state the purpose for which funds are requested
- The program must articulate the willingness and ability to measure progress/results
