It was another record year for 9 School Tools.  This year exceeded 2018 by 183,128 school supplies, and for the second year donations exceeded the one million mark.    

 

Our final 9 School Tools donation is 1,222,399. 

 

Over the past five years, 9 School Tools has had incredible growth in donations. 

2015 – 387,045 (over 110% increase over 2014)

2016 – 814,548

2017 – 862,708

2018 – 1,027,574

2019 – 1,222,399

 

Our collaboration with you has been exceptional, so thank for being an integral part of this year’s success.  This number translates into serving 282,092 students across the Carolinas.

World AIDS Day Memorial Service

World AIDS Day Listening Symposium

Tuesday, December 3, 2019 - 9:00 a.m.

The Delta Center, 5408 Beatties Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216


The rate of African-American women living with HIV is 12 times higher than that of White women. Charlotte Alumnae Chapter is pleased to host and participate with community partners to provide black women with information, resources and attention.  The brunch will also serve as a listening session to understand and address barriers in discussing HIV/AIDS,  and share education information and resources.  Event partners are Mecklenburg County Health Department and Village HeartBeat in support of "Getting to Zero," a community initiative to reduce new cases of HIV in Mecklenburg County.
